Gary founded SRI in 1994 after spending several years leading the marketing practice at a national search firm. As the President of SRI, Gary leads business development for the firm and works on searches in Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Public Relations. His searches span many industries and include; Financial and Professional Services, Health Care, Technology, Online & Traditional Media, and Consumer Products. Gary has placed Partners, Practice Leaders, Directors of Marketing and Communications, and C-Level Officers. Gary’s long-term clients include many prestigious companies and leading agencies.
In addition to providing overall leadership for the company, Gary is active in many industry associations and is regularly called on as an expert on employment issues ranging from recruiting and retention to industry trends and ethics. He has a loyal following of clients, many of whom have worked with him since he started SRI. Tristan Waldvogel began his recruiting career as a research assistant with SRI in 2011. As a VP at SRI, Tristan works closely with global companies and agencies to identify and hire the right talent.
Tristan handles a wide-range of positions in integrated marketing, communications, and public relations. He also has extensive hands-on recruiting experience within the architecture and design industries.
Tristan’s an extremely adaptable recruiter who has worked with clients ranging from boutique firms to large global companies – on positions at every level.
His friendly, candid approach has earned him the trust of both clients and candidates alike. Tristan’s also a regular contributor to various media outlets on recruiting industry trends.

Susan is a Talent Acquisition professional with 25+ years of varied search experience (corporate & agency). Susan has been on both sides of the fence – which provides a unique understanding of the cultural nuances of the client side.

Mary Frances joined SRI in 2012 after spending 8 years with another national search firm as a top recruiter in their Pharmaceutical division. An in-depth knowledge of the industry and a reputation of integrity brought Mary Fran to SRI to lead their Pharmaceutical/Healthcare practice. Prior to her career as an executive search consultant Mary Fran began as a Media Buyer in NYC in radio, TV, print and out of home. This was followed by 10 years in the barter finance industry, with ICON International. As a Vice President Media Director, she negotiated multimillion dollar contracts with publishers and managed high level clients. Next career challenge was as an owner/operator of an Irish Import company with a retail site and a ground floor web based business.

Joan started her career in the fashion Industry with a love of art and design, but transitioned to the luxury travel industry as a Wholesale Tour Operator. This enabled her to work globally with prestigious Hoteliers and Trade Commissions negotiating contracts and sourcing vendors with an end goal of designing unique travel programs for private clients consisting of travel agencies and clients direct. Having negotiated multi-million dollar contracts and selling luxury programs to high-end clientele enabled her to hone her skills of working with international vendors, negotiation, sourcing, communicating with different cultures and most importantly, discretion and integrity.

Dan recruits for both contract and full-time positions.

Allen has been an Executive Recruiter in the Apparel industry for over thirty years. He has successfully filled hundreds of management and executive level positions in design, production, manufacturing, merchandising and every other area of the apparel, home furnishings and accessories industry. Allen is an expert on staffing, retention and compensation issues. He maintains an unmatched network of industry professionals.
Allen works on domestic and international searches for some of the largest companies in the Apparel industry, his long-term clients include Jones NY, Oxford Industries, Capital Mercury, Phillips Van Heusen, Sara Lee and Vanity Fair. Carole specializes in Financial Services. Prior to joining SRI, Carole was a recruiter at a 30 year-old national executive search firm where she was instrumental in building a new financial services practice. Her executive recruiting experience spans Capital Markets, Risk Management, Investment Management, Financial Control, Analysis, and Legal. Among the companies where Carole has made senior-level placements are; Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Sterling Bancorp and Foothill Capital.
Carole has placed candidates on the following levels: CEO’s, CFO’s, General Counsel, Financial Advisors, Private Bankers, Credit and Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, Associates, and Analysts. Carole’s prior experience includes 17 years in investment and corporate banking.
She was previously a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston where she covered structured and trade finance for Fortune 500 companies, and an Assistant Vice President at UBS where she covered general corporate bank lending. She was later responsible for originating trade receivables for emerging markets and working on the sale of trade paper in the secondary market for WestLB’s merchant bank. Carole has completed formal credit and treasury training programs, received various licenses to sell public securities, and has published various articles on trade finance. Carole holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Boston University’s School of Management.
Jennifer is a fashion and home furnishings recruitment specialist with over 15 years of progressive, full-cycle recruiting experience. She’s built an extensive network and her clients include leading brands and retailers who partner with her to find the best talent available.
Prior to recruiting, Jennifer had a successful career in the retail industry, working both in the field and at the corporate level. Jennifer fills contract and direct-hire positions in every area of Sales, Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Production. Jennifer also has considerable experience working in the sewn product industry.

Lea joined SRI in 2018 after spending 7 years as a top recruiter with a large national firm, where she was instrumental in building up their beauty division.
Prior to becoming a recruiter, Lea worked in the fashion industry in various roles within wholesale sales, planning, merchandising, production, and product development, for organizations such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ann Taylor Loft, and Century 21 Department stores. She has performed many of the roles she recruits for, which gives her a deep understanding of what’s needed for the position.
Lea recruits for all levels of sales, marketing, e-commerce, training, product development, production/sourcing, and planning in the fashion, home, beauty, and packaging industries. She works on full-time and retained searches throughout the US.
